John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for an item. She liked how it was positioned in her bedroom and thought its grey color would fit the majority of modern homes. She also mentioned that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby younger because it can cause an unfavourable sleep pattern for later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib that was designed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep in mind. It has a drop-side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to wake your child or get up it's ideal for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also lightweight, making it easy to move around the house during naps and for travelling.
It's made from soft materials and has breathable mesh sides to promote airflow. It's available in oak and charcoal and comes with a variety of melange fabric options that are compatible with all decor styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed, with the legs firmly snapping into the frame and the zips securely secured to ensure safety for babies. It took her around 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or support number if you encounter any problems.
As well as the usual features you'd expect from a crib for your bed, like being able to be connected to your bed using a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height The CoZee comes with an additional incline option that can be used to alleviate reflux or congestion in babies. It's also machine washable, a must with all the dribble and vomit that come with having a newborn!
If you're looking to keep your baby close to you during the first six months as they're beginning to learn to sleep independently The CoZee is a fantastic option because it can be used as a stand-alone cot, changing table or toddler bed. It can be turned into a sofa bed by the addition of an extension pack. Although it can't magically bring your baby to sleep or feed them, it can rock them and send them off.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of the more expensive options, however it has a wide array of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib and is suitable for babies from birth to six months. Our testers loved the ease of access provided by the side panel which can be moved upwards and down with one click of a button. This was a huge help during feeding times at night as it meant that they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without waking them.
The side panel can be lowered on its own however, it's not advised as it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism guarantees that it will only remain in place when it is attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This feature is great to have peace of mind when you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be a perfect fit for any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers, thanks to the legs that telescopic. It also has an option to tilt for babies with reflux and a rocking mode that can soothe them back to sleep after eating. It's also incredibly spacious and provides great ventilation due to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, even with the lengthy instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers however, it is easily moved from one area to another. It can also be folded into a bag for travel, which is great for those who want to transport it. The only issue our test subjects found was that the side panel did not flex as much as some of the other models, which made it difficult to see your baby from your own bed.
The Shnuggle Air
If you're in search of an ideal bedside crib that can expand with your child then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth a look. It is designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that will attach securely to your bed but also transform into a stylish cot once your baby is ready. It's ideal for feeding at night and for strengthening your bond with your baby.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, not like other cribs. Its dual-view mesh sides and the airflow mattress, which is hypoallergenic and breathable increase airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline helps to ease reflux and colic while the zip down side makes it easy to feed or soothe your baby at night.
The kit for conversion to cot (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to start. It took us an hour to put together and was surprisingly simple. The only drawback to the instructions was that certain pictures did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow. Overall, it was a straightforward process and the quality of the materials used was excellent.
The Shnuggle Air is a great option for mothers who are nursing or have had C-sections. It allows them to reach out and hold their baby for comfort and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's also great for those who want to avoid the difficulty of getting in and out of a traditional cot, or placing their baby down for a nap.
The gliding motion was found to be extremely helpful in lulling babies to sleep following feedings during the midday or at night. The drop-down side can be accessible to feed or calm babies in the middle of the night this was a huge selling point for our exhausted test moms. Although it doesn't rock or have additional features, like a sound machine, the Joie Roomie Glide's sleek design and functional features are a welcome addition to our top crib reviews for bed.
